The source, the system, the way. We know we are different, that does not mean we think we are better. Our history speaks for itself, our teaches created us. Being South African we have direct experience of both criminal behaviour and violence. We teach from our real world experience and we share our stories of survival.

Does PRIMAL have a grading system?

Yes. We believe it is important for a student to be able to train, study and track their personal learning progress from A right through to Z. That is the make up of a system. We want our students to academically and physically understand how it works. Just like a car mechanic, you need to understand the workings of an engine. Martial Arts is the engine, we grade you on showing us how it all works.

Yes and No. We have in the past directed the activity of other international schools such as The Israeli Krav Maga Association, Protect Krav Maga and the ACT Armed Combat & Tactics schools in South Africa. Although PRIMAL is independent of these schools and organisations, we are directly connected via history, our on going business relationships and the systems didactics we collectively teach. PRIMAL content was taught to us directly in Israel and exists via Israel to South Africa. Grand Master Haim Gidon, Yigal Abriv, Major Itay Gil, Noah Gross and Alexander Zhelezniak have all played a vital role and contribution to the PRIMAL system.
